 Sunday’s Feed The Hungry Offering
Our “Feed the Hungry” offering this week is for
Bristol Faith in Action.
BFIA is a cooperative outreach ministry of the churches of Bristol and the local community formed to serve any persons whose circumstances leave them with significant physical, social, emotional, or spiritual needs.

The Berg Family is here!!
The first wave of boxes arrived at the parsonage on Sunday.
The moving van arrived on Tuesday around 12:30.
A great big ‘Thank You’ to everyone who helped unload furnishings and boxes at the church and at the parsonage! Thank you also to those who brought food and drinks – who took the children to a movie – who called and came by – who prayed – all who welcomed our new family and will continue to embrace them in your loving care.
 Welcome Berg Family!

Church-wide Picnic

July 9th after Traditional Service

Hamburgers, hotdogs, trimmings will be provided. Bring your favorite dessert along with the recipe to give to Karoline (which may read, “found at Kroger’s!” 🙂
Just in time for the Bergs’ arrival, the hardwood floors in the parsonage have been beautifully refinished.

Be sure to visit the display Dr. Alan Gorrell  created with information about this year’s Conference.
Church emails were down for maintenance over the weekend. If  you sent an email to the church during this time and did not receive a reply, please resend it.
The June 18th Bible lesson was on the fiery furnace. We had a furnace and made smores with teddy grahams on them to show that the three Hebrew children did not burn.
Last Sunday, the lesson was on Daniel and the den of lions. We made lion faces.
We also learned about hospitality as we prepared a bouquet of balloons to give to the new pastor’s children.
