Celebrating Pentecost Sunday With a Psalm of Praise

A Farewell Sermon
“Remembering and Rejoicing”
~Philippians 1: 1-24

Last Sunday, after the children helped Dr. Gorrell ring the bell to call everyone to worship, they joined the adults in the sanctuary where Pastor Michelle taught them about the coming of the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost.

After the children’s sermon, the children returned to their classroom for Moving Mighty Methodists Learning and Activity.
The church was draped with a lovely red cloth and doves to represent the coming of the Holy Spirit.
 Sunday’s Feed The Hungry Offering
Our “Feed the Hungry” offering this week is for Family Promise of Bristol. This program provides an opportunity for us to show God’s grace and Christ’s love to children with homeless families in the Bristol area.

Saying Goodbye Is  Hard To Do
On Sunday we will say goodbye to Michelle and Gary at a family covered dish lunch following the 11 o’clock service. Please plan to join us as we wish them a fond farewell.
If you wish to contribute to an offering in their honor, please mark your check or offering as “Love Offering.”
