Sharing Space

needs a place to worship and our Trustees have been in active conversation on how to best leverage our facilities for both community and church benefit. 

By way of introduction and community-building, Common Ground will worship with us January 8 in both our River and Traditional Services.  On January 15, they will then launch their 1st service in our church Chapel, 10:00 a.m-12:30 p.m.
Details are being finalized in a contractual understanding of how we
share space in a win/win capacity as storage,one classroom and some fellowship space will also be needed.

Already a Family Promise partner with First UMC Bristol, Common Ground has asked to share ministry opportunities in missions, small group activities, book studies, covered dish dinners, congregational talent etc…

With a website tagline ‘open to all, closed to none,’ Common Ground Fellowship shares many of our theological beliefs as well as our UMC passion for ministries of compassion and social justice and our celebration of diversity.
