FUMC Bristol Newsletter, August 17th-23rd, 2016

Setting Healthy Boundaries:
A Series
Do you have trouble saying “No?”
Can your children (of any age), other family members and friends
‘push’ you beyond comfortable limits?
Do you often give yourself away and have nothing left?
Is it your habit to keep others happy vs. doing what you really want?
Can people ‘push your buttons?’
Do you avoid answering certain phone calls or ever dodge someone you know in the grocery store?
If any of these things are true for you, then this series on “Boundaries” may
be just the thing for you!
If you know someone else who could benefit from this series,
then by all means, INVITE THEM!

Surveys are due this Sunday, August 21.
If you have not yet received one,
you may pick it up at the church OR click on the link below and print one

Report from the

News from Suzanne Goyette
“This week we had a bumper crop of little ones
, and we are so glad to welcome them! “
The Fruit of the Spirit this week was Self-Control.
We snacked on grapes of every color as Suzanne & Mary Jane Bradbury helped the children create beautiful bunches of glass grapes! The kids learned how Daniel in the Old Testament grew wiser and stronger by
practicing self control and following God’s way,
even in a foreign land.”
