**Welcome Back to In-Person Church!**
In-Person Worship Resumed, March 21
***UPDATED Procedures per CDC directives, Conference advisement, and meeting of Administrative Council, June 2022 ***
We have a Sunday School at 9:30am and one service on Sunday at 11:00 in the Tankersley Hall (temporarily). If you are uncomfortable with worshiping in person or unable to join us for whatever reason, please tune in as we live-stream the service on Facebook.
We are in the midst of a global pandemic, although we are seeing an end in sight. Even though people are being vaccinated and infection rates are declining, we will be maintaining recommended best public health practices for the foreseeable future to protect each other — especially our children and immuno-compromised folks and those who cannot be vaccinated.
When you come worship with us, some specific things will happen:
-Masks are now OPTIONAL – If you wear a mask, please ensure you are wearing your mask correctly to avoid spreading airborne particulates (vaccinated or not).
-If you are feeling unwell, especially with cough or fever, please stay home to avoid spreading any illness to others
-If we are observing Communion, you will be able to pick up an individually wrapped Communion packet with your bulletin or they will be distributed at the proper time
-We are removing the distancing devices and trusting to your common sense to sit in household groups at a reasonable distance from other groups.
-Minimize your use of the lavatory and sanitize the spaces you use
This is another step back toward normalcy, and we are looking forward to making more progress very soon, but we will all have to cooperate to ensure that can happen. We have missed being together in worship and we look forward to seeing you!
You may still join us online via our live streamed services, or watch later — Past and current services can be found here.
We have also recently launched a Facebook Group to fellowship, pray, and support each other virtually.
What We Do
In the Before Times and hopefully in the future, we can return to weekly Book Studies, more Sunday School classes, and our Contemplative Service as well as our Traditional Service.
We are very involved in our local community and with ministries abroad. We partner with local charities and missions. We are trying to bring Christ’s mercy, light, and love to all the places we can reach. We can best do this by striving to support and live in harmony with each other and with those we encounter in our lives.
We are located at 322 Vance Dr. in Bristol, Tennessee
